Example 2 – Fearne and Reggie’s chart show

This jingle for the chart show is very short and sweet, the text for it is “Radio ones chart show, the UK’s official number 1, 3, 2, 1, number 1”. This literally takes 24 seconds, which is a lot shorter than the Chris Moyles show, I personally do not like this jingle because it doesn’t make you warm to it and in a way it makes me not feel welcome. I still believe though that is a nice idea, because after this it leads straight it to last week’s number one song, which lets the viewer catch up on what has happened. At the very start before this small bit of speech there is a nice little effect which sounds like the tuning of the radio which I thought worked really well, I would quite like an effect like that for my project.
